About Global Legal Talent

Insa Blanke is the Executive Director of the International LL.M. and S.J.D. Programs at Loyola University in Chicago, where she teaches and oversees the LL.M. Program. Professor Blanke is admitted to practice in Illinois, and has passed the licensing exams in Germany. Before joining Loyola, she spent five years litigating for the City of Chicago Law Department. She also worked at the University of Chicago Law School and at Chicago-Kent College of Law, and previously, as an international legal consultant at Baker McKenzie in Chicago.  

Lydia Lazar is a strategist, legal educator, and author, now leading Global Legal Talent as Managing Director. Ms. Lazar taught the Introduction to the American Legal System to hundreds of international lawyers and has lectured widely across Europe and Asia. She is a former associate dean at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, and previously served as the dean of international law and policy at Chicago-Kent College of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and has published and lectured widely on a range of law and policy subjects.
